Our Story

Hello. I am William Stark, owner of Wesstark Inspections. I’ve spent the better part of 20 years in the home improvement field, working for folks just like you. Taking care of their home improvement and repairs, whenever I came across a major repair, I always thought “if they only caught this sooner!” A small problem going unnoticed has a way of turning into a large repair and expense. At Wesstark Inspections we are dedicated to quality and service. We are looking forward to taking care of your inspection needs!

Frequently Asked Questions

Buying a house?

With Wesstark Inspections the property you’re considering will receive a thorough visual inspection. At inspection end all pertinent information will be compiled into a very detailed, easy to read and understand report complete with photos and video where necessary.

The information contained in your report will be a valuable asset in your decision making process.

Selling a house?

Get ahead of the game. Have your home inspection before you list.

A thorough presale inspection can help you prioritize any needed repairs or maintenance. A home that has had a pre-sale inspection will show better, have less buyer concerns, and help eliminate the need to discount your asking price due to needed repair.

Why do I need an inspection?

Peace of mind. Be informed about the inner workings of your home. For example, know that your electrical and plumbing systems are in good working condition. Living here in Minnesota we all want our heating and cooling systems to be in good working order. We want it warm in the winter and cool in the summer!

Wesstark Home Inspections will advise you on the current conditions of your heating and cooling systems along with their approximate age and life expectancy.

Can I be there during the inspection?

I encourage anyone that is having a home inspection, either buying or selling, to attend the inspection as an observer. This will give you first-hand information and you will be able to ask questions about any part of the inspection that you need clarity on.

If you just can’t find the time to attend, you will have a professionally prepared report. The report will be very detailed, easy to read and understand, complete with photos and video where necessary. And as always, if you have any questions, please call. We will be happy to answer any and all questions you may have.

How long does an inspection take?

The inspection will take anywhere from 2 ½ to 3 hours and can be scheduled at a time that is convenient for you.
